TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. RPG Roller is a 10 dimensions only dice roller where you can set a number of dice and a calculation method. The roller generates random numbers from 1 to 10 and calculate your successes considering the calculation method you chose.
  2. It is highly recommended NOT to enter amount of dice (dice pool) higher than 1.000 in order to avoid overloading you device's processor which can lead to a long delay or even a crash.
  3. The calculation method consists of five option which are the following:
    1. Target: is the threshold which defines which number and above is considered to be success and which is fail. For example if you set the target at 8 every random number that is generated and is 8 or higher will be considered as success.
    2. Re-roll: is the threshold which defines which number and above will be rolled again. The rolled die which is under the rule of re-roll will be counted as normal into the dice pool but it actually increase you dice pool by 1, which means that gives the opportunity to roll more successes. A re-roll is not considered success if it does not meets the Target's condition. For example if you set target at 8 and re-roll at 5 and roll 3 dice resulting to the numbers 9,6,2 the numbers 9 and 6 will be re-rolled, which mean 2 more dice with the same settings will be rolled, but only 9 is considered a success from these numbers.
    3. Double: is the threshold which defines which number and above will be counted to be double success. This setting is tightly bound with the Target, which means that if Double is set lower than the Target, the random generated numbers lower than the Target will be ignored and those equal or higher will be considered to be double successes. If Double is set higher than the Target then the generated numbers which are equal or higher than Target and lower than Double will be counted as one success each, while those equal or above Target and Double will be counted as double  successes each.
    4. Subtract Aces: will subtract one success for every generated ace (1) that you roll including re-rolls and rote roll. If you roll more aces while Subtract Aces is active  than successes the roll will be considered a Botch. If you do not roll a success but you have at least one ace and above, even if the Subtract Aces is inactive, the roll will be also considered a Botch. For Example if Target is 8 and Subtract Aces inactive and roll 3 dice resulting to 5,3,1 then the roll is a (x1) Botch.
    5. Rote: will roll a number of dice equal to the total generated numbers from the initial roll which are below the Target threshold. This means that generated numbers from re-roll that are below the Target threshold are not applied to the Rote condition. For example if Target is 8 and Rote active and roll 3 dice resulting to 4,9,2 then 2 more dice will be rolled as Rote roll.
  4. Every available combination of those five options is allowed. There are no further options from those five on the main Roller's screen.
  5. The application menu on the main screen include two color themes, one light and one dark, and you can only choose the one that is not active at the moment on the application. The theme is inherited to the history screen as well so there is no theme option on the history menu.
  6. The History screen show the previous rolls from the time of the last "Clear History" or delete cache to the most recent roll.
  7. The history menu has a back button and the option "Clear History" to delete all history entries.
  8. RPG Roller is offered as it is and it cannot be modified or be patched.
  9. RPG Roller is not responsible for any damage on you device or health issues occurred due to the excessive use or misuse.
